Throughout the month of May, the FBC Women's ministry is asking for donations for the Community Crisis Center in Elgin. They provide a safe refuge for people experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, or economic crisis, and also provide services to help and empower families shape a new life.

Follow the link below for the full list of items, and return all donation to the white collection bins outside the church office no later than May 26th.

The FBC Women's Ministry invites all women to a Shower of Blessings for the Elgin Crisis Center on Saturday, June 1st, at 10am in the Fellowship Hall. We will enjoy a brunch together while listening to Ruth Peterson from the Crisis Center. All are also invited to bring all donations for the Crisis Center to the event, if you are able. All women are invited to attend our summer Women's Bible Study, "Lyrics of Life" - a seven-week video series led by Bible teacher Lisa Harper. With sound biblical exposition, engaging storytelling, and comedic wit, Lisa delves into the gut-level honesty found in the book of Psalms. As Lisa notes, "Whether we are in green pastures or heart-pounding valleys, we can trust in the immutable compassion of our God."
